 Ms. Taimisto joined Cierra after 7 years as Director of R&D at Boston Scientific, Electrophysiology, responsible for all catheter development projects. Ms. Taimisto has over 24 years experience in the medical device industry, and has worked in both small and large organizations at Baxter, Guidant, CardioGenesis, and Boston Scientific. She has led the development of more than 20 successful projects in the fields of electrophysiology, RF ablation, ultrasound imaging and ablation, cryo ablation, laser ablation, transmyocardial revascularization; both surgical and percutaneous, and thermodilution diagnostics. Ms. Taimisto holds over 25 US and international patents. Ms. Taimisto holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Wisconsin.
