 Mr. Salkeld joined Cierra from Vascular Architects where he was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Salkeld has 12 years of medical device experience in various capacities including sales, marketing, and finance. While at Vascular Architects, Mr. Salkeld was responsible for developing and directing the global sales and marketing efforts targeting interventional cardiologists and vascular surgeons performing peripheral vascular procedures. Prior to Vascular Architects, Mr. Salkeld was at Guidant Corporation where he was a member of the Vascular Intervention U.S. Sales organization, selling devices for the treatment of peripheral vascular disease. While in the Vascular Intervention Marketing department, Mr. Salkeld held a Group Product Manager position and was involved in the U.S. launches of the coronary stent systems. Prior to Guidant, Mr. Salkeld was a Manager at Ernst & Young, LLP, working with various high technology companies in Silicon Valley. Mr. Salkeld holds a B.S. in Commerce and an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University.
