 Mr. Feuchtwang joined Cierra Medical from Zimmer Technology, the IP holding Company of Zimmer, Inc., a leading US orthopedics company (sales over $3 billion). At Zimmer, Mr. Feuchtwang managed an extensive IP portfolio comprising over 4000 patents and 1700 trademarks. Mr. Feuchtwang brings extensive IP litigation and interference experience as well as over 10 years experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications spanning a wide array of technology. Prior to joining Zimmer, Mr. Feuchtwang was an associate in DLA Piper's Chicago office. Mr. Feuchtwang earned a Juris Doctorate degree (with honors) from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago Kent College of Law, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois, and an Industrial Engineering degree from the Pennsylvania State University. Prior to embarking on his legal career, Mr. Feuchtwang was a Process Control Engineer for LTV Steel Company in East Chicago, Indiana.
