 Ms. Brick joined Cierra in July 2006 as Director of Finance and Controller. She was previously Corporate Controller at Perlegen Sciences, a life sciences company. Prior to joining Perlegen, Ms. Brick spent six years in Director of Finance and Controller roles at Illumina, Inc., a publicly traded life sciences company, where she managed accounting, financial planning and analysis, SEC and management reporting, treasury and risk management and played a key role in the company's evolution from a small start-up, through IPO, to a publicly traded company. Prior to her work in the life science industry, Ms. Brick held various financial roles in the wireless communications industry and at Ernst & Young, LLP, where she worked with various biotechnology and high technology companies in the San Diego area. Ms. Brick received a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and is a Certified Public Accountant.
