The company was formed with the transformation of St. Paul Venture Capital into two independent venture firms, each concentrating on specific industries and geographies mirroring the historical practices of St. Paul Venture Capital’s investment teams.
Split Rock Partners enjoys the continued support of St. Paul Venture Capital’s long-time sole limited partner, St. Paul Travelers Companies, Inc. (formerly The St. Paul Companies), which has made a new commitment of capital to Split Rock Partners. With the formation of Split Rock Partners, our firm has assumed responsibility for St. Paul Venture Capital’s existing healthcare and software portfolio.
